H&M announces first Australian store/ Gisele Bundchen for H&M Fall Campaign 2013

Finally H&M is joining Zara and Topshop in Melbourne! I must say I am very happy they chose Melbourne over Sydney.
It is said that H&M’s first Australian flagship store will open at Melbourne’s GPO in early 2014; I am disappointed that it is all the way in the city though but if this GPO store is successful they will no doubt open others.

“We are very excited to announce that we will be opening the first H&M store in Melbourne, Australia during 2014. It will be one of H&M’s largest stores globally. We look forward to bringing fashion and quality at the best price to the Australian customers,” - Hans Andersson, Country Manager for H&M Australia.
The concept store will be around 5,000 square meters over 3 floors, and will be one of H&M’s largest stores globally.
I am very excited!

Now H&M's 2013 Fall Campaign featuring the beautiful Gisele Bundchen. Gisele has been H&M's face of a campaign in Spring 2011 but now she is not only the face of their fall campaign but also the voice. She will also be singing in the campaign, which includes TV and online commercials alongside her print and billboard advertising which will debut on September 12!

Gisele’s version of “All Day And All Of The Night” (originally by The Kinks) will be available for free download from hm.com, and will also be on iTunes, raising money for UNICEF. For every single download from iTunes, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children.

“I am so excited to be the face of H&M this autumn. I love the street-style look, and that we can raise funds for a good cause. I hope everyone downloads my song!” - Gisele Bundchen.
